Folded Technologies

This thesis project is an amalgamation of the knowledge and experience that I have acquired throughout my studies at Ryerson University. This journey began two years ago when I enrolled in a wearable technology course and began experimenting with smart materials and technology. Subsequently, I had the opportunity to intern for a wearable technology startup and had the opportunity to learn about 3D printing and laser cutting through various courses and jobs. This exposure to fashion and technology, combined with my love for origami and pleats, has been the source of inspiration for Folded Technologies.
